More layers than a kid in the snow in December
So you must forgive my use of retired paper on a lot of these cards. I haven’t been able to update my collection while such a large stash remains but at least for most of these, you can easily replace the shown dsp with any pattern paper you wish. Now this card ended up being really thick because I just can’t help but to layer more and more paper to it. If I could every layer back to front when it is closed, there are seven. There is the base folded to three layers, the white interior for the sentiment, one dsp on the extra flap, and two extra on the face. To do the three layers, I used a base of 5.25 x 12. I scored at the 4 and 8 and then cut a triangle from my face layer. It just ended up being one of those projects I look at and think, “wow that is really pretty.” I also think this style would make a great invite as well. Just print the info and glue it where the white rectangle is.
